Long time

Wow! Life just seems to have gotten so busy. I feel there is never a dull moment in life. If it is not one thing it is another. The kids just keep growing and growing. I cannot believe how fast time flies. Roc will be 1 in less then 2 months it seems crazy. It is good. He is so cute, so fun and such a joy. He is a happy happy baby full of joy and laughter. He now says mom, has 7 teeth, wants to play with the big boys, climbs up and down our stairs, wow things have changed around here! My daughter went to live with her dad after a stressful incident..Not sure I want to go into details on here, but it was not fun, I know God's got it, but I miss my baby girl.. she is 13. So she is now coming home on Wed. nights to go to counseling with the youth pastor's wife and go to youth then she is here every weekend. I love my kiddos so much and I am trying so hard to be the best Mother God can make me... I pray daily he walk it out with me. I know I am far from perfect, but I love them with a mothers love.. I would die for any of my children. But emotionally I am struggling and feel drained, feeling I have nothing left to give on a daily basis.. try to remember I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me. Then my 15 year old has met the Love of his life. They talk about the future and seem to have it all planned out. She is a beautiful, fun girl... I pray for them both a lot. Young Love... What more can I say on that! :) I cannot believe Christmas is just around the corner. So much to do. Trying to figure out my calling in life besides, just being the mom, I am feeling I want to do out reach work but not sure if that is what I am supose to do or even how ans where to goet started, and how can I combine my photography... BIG SIGH..... I really want to take a posing workshop from Kelley Ryden and Tracey Raver.... They are so amazing!! So much talent and I so want to know how to pose babies like that.. Just did a shoot today for a teeny little 4 punder.. Oh my goodness she is so precious!! Momma and Auntie are so excited and what a reason they have to be!! Well hopefully soon within the next day or so I will be posting some New photos It seems it has been so long... Like I said life never stops, broken arms, vacations, broken ankles, football games, practices, school, Elijah started preschool.. He loves it, More on that later. All right I have rambled quite enough for the night, so much to get off my chest..... Well Goodnight Blogger wolrd, someday maybe I will figure you out and have more time!! :)

Outta control

My house is outta control, There is so much that needs to be done. We are in the middle of a remodel for a fantastic walk in closet, so I keep praying for pouring rain so the hubby will work on it. So far no pouring rain. So I sit in my disaster trying to figure out where to start. I think I have a small form of ADD. I start in one area move to another, feel like I work my behind off, then turn around and man, it looks really no different. Anyone have cleaning advice? Besides hiring a maid..LOL. Then the kids make more messes ever time I clean one area it has to be done again. I am so feeling like I fail in every area of my life. I say the wrong thing, the hubs gets upset with me, I really could use a vacation. I would not change my life for anything, I know God has purpose for where I am in my current stage of life. I know I am doing a very important job, but some days it is hard to see through all the clutter. The loneliness that can come with motherhood, man I never thought I could have so many little ones around me and still feel lonely, Don't get me wrong I love them dearly and they are awesome, but I miss adult conversation. I really hope my business endeavorer work out soon and I can get a little time away every now and then to do a Photo shoot, All I have to do is say the word and my hubby will sign me up and get me officially Misty May Photography, Then fear sets in, see I have failed a lot in my life and it is fear holding me back, I am scared of people. I am shy, I have issues with large groups and I am praying about it because I know if this is meant to be my path God will give me the strength to overcome all my fears. I am shooting a wedding in July, so I have to get over it soon, It is for a friend, so not total pressure , but I still want to do the best, but by then I should have my camera upgraded to the wonderful Canon 5D Mark 2....And 50mm 1.4... Someday my dream lenses will happen when I am actually making some monies and it is not just a hobby. In October I will have a both at a scrapbook event, so that will help get my name out there.. She expects 300 or so people, so I am getting excited, just have to start getting stuff ready for display. Well I think I have vented enough and got some stuff off my chest. Trying to start a new blog for business only, but I really don';t know anything about these things, I know what I want it to look like, but not having much luck the header picture is just way to small and I don't know how to make it bigger... any suggestions. Well Please pray for all my upcoming endeavors. God Bless hope you all are having a great week!

I am so tired today I don't think I got over an hour of sleep last night. Exhaustion is setting in and I have so much to do. Brownies to make for my brothers birthday. Cleaning, laundry..the list goes on and on. Sigh.... So I am just trying really hard to keep my patience with all the kiddos, and not come unglued at the seems. Then it is date night for the hubby and I. I think we are heading out to Eldridge for Trivia night with some friends, it should be fun. All I really want to do is take pictures then sit and work on them...Playing today is really hard. I so need to figure things out and get a business going. I love taking photos and think I could do it, its just finding the way. I leave it in God's hands if it is going to be it will be! I have been reading Beth Moore's book on insecurities, Man I have lots of them which is part of what holds me back in my photography, I never feel good enough. I feel like everyone is better than me, given the chance I think I really could succeed and get over my fears of people. I can do it!! Well Motherhood calls so I am off. Bench Monday~ Standing on the word edition I really don't know what I would do with out knowing I could run God for anything. He is my Roc. He is what gets me through life day to day, With the craziness of 6 kids ranging from 15 - 4 months... I need my Jesus to make it, sometimes just to wake up in the moring, I feel like I am under so much pressure to be all right now, so I am trying to let go and Let God!! Hope your week is great!

They are watching Tv as they take turns holding Roc. It melts my heart to know they all love eachother so much. Some days it is entirely smothering, but I know they mean well. They have displayed very little jealousy since he has been born. I love all my kiddos so much. I am so excited for spring break to be here!! My goal is to get a photo of all my 6 kiddos together. Should be fun. I will be tryiing very hard to stay off this computer except for very breif moments, I am going to take advantage of every moment I can spend with them all!!!! Again I am so blessed. I am the Richest woman in the world to have this babies. Thank you Jesus for trusting me with them!! I am trying to do the best I can to raise them all in a loving way so they learn to trust you and serve you with all of their hearts. You will lead them down the right paths. Continue Turning me into the wife and Mother you want me to be. Thank you Jesus. Amen

3 months old

Where does the time go. My baby is 3 months old already! I can't believe it. I feel like I blinked and he changed. crazy isn't it. Wow a mothers heart. Sometimes i feel so alone. I know that this is an important job staying at home and raising my babies and when faced with working i don't really want to because I never wanted to let others raise my babies. But in some ways I just feel alone, I really don't have many friends, Flickr friends are about it. so then I waste my day on the computer when I should be cleaning or enjoying my children. I don't know maybe it is partial baby blues and hormones still I just feel like I am in this fog and life is passing my by. Even on days my hubby says he will be here it seems stuff comes up now I am lonely and sad wanting to leave the house and do something besides sitting here, but what? I swear the Quad Cities sucks, Its hard to make friends here especially when youkive in kind of a crappy neighborhood, that is reallyj ust kinda scary. Immediate neighbors are great, but its not the safest place. Luckily we fenced our yard in so the kiddos get to play. Well enough rambling for now. THis is the start of my photos for his 3 months more to come next week a little late but kids are on Spring break so I will have my helpers and get all 6 of my babies in a photo!!! Having a day...Feels like Monday

I am having a very bad day. Someone posted a picture of me and oh my Goodness..I am sooo fat. When did this happen. I really need to get serious and loose some weight. It is just one of those weeks. Going on very little sleep, so tired I am just going to crash so i eat more and feel more fat and yicky..Oh how I hate myself right now. I think i really need to buy some fat burning pills maybe try Alli.....I dunno I can't stay this fat goint to the beach in June so I have to just loose weith or I am going to hate the beach I will be wearning Jeans and sweatshirts...OH how I hate me. I so need to figure out how to like me again. I was a size five when I met my hubby now , well lets just say HUGE!!! He says he doesn't care but I really feel like he looks at me with hate and disgust , maybe because I hate me so much .. I dunno. But I do feel he thinks I am know gross so I just hide behind my kids so I don't have to be intimate and face him really being grossed out by me. I sleep on the couch and keep my distance, so he hates me even more, no wonder he works long days and I feel he hates me, oh well I guess if he decides he really hates me he will leave like everyone else....Oh my what have I become. How did I blink and get this fat again...I looked better pregnant than I do now. Wow I hate being me. I really want a better camera a better lens anew house that comes with a maid and nanny so then I would have time for me. I wish I could feel good enough to take Photos for a living, but I feel there are just too many everybody wants to do it, or buys good camereas a does it themselves....I am so lonely all the time, no wonder all I do is eat, I am tired I eat, I am boired I eat, I want something sweet i eat, I hate myself I eat, Does it ever stop?? Does anyone really understand how this feels or am I alone in this. Alone in my depression, Alone in wishing I were enough...Just once I want to be good enough I want to take that amazing photo that gets noticed, I wanna be somebody. I am a mom of six, I think I have olost all of me, I am fading into nothing, but the MOM. THe Fat old mom....Yes I am feeling sorry for me right now, I am sorry I am trying, BUt Where is GOd when It really matters? Is he here? Does he care? How can even God love me? I am the forgotten child the one who really should have died as a baby I wasn't supose to make it why did I? I am nothing...My older kids always want there dad he is perfect he is wonderful he can do nothing wron..then there is me I always screw up there plans I get left for him, there sister from him and his new wife is everything...There brothers seem like nothing..They have to get Bella a present..They have to be at her party but when it is one of The brothers they don't care..Why?? Then They think they have the right to tell me if I can or can not have more why is it ayones business but mine and my hubby's?? I raise them I take care of them I feed them I love them more then anyone knows my heart gets tore out daily because they are my heart and I hate sharing I don't wanna share anymore. I really really want a little girl still . I wanted pink and tuts and now it looks like that will never happen My heart is sad today, for many reasons. Heard a sad true story of a little 2 year old who died..got stuck in a futon, and ended up choking on his own vomit..HOw sad is that??? My heart breaks for the family. I am Thankful for my boys I love them dearly just the girl I have I share and it is hard..Try sharing with a stepmom who take s your only daughter Bra shopping for the first time.... Who takes her to get her eyebrows waxed for the first time...who does her hair..who seems to be the best most awesome personm to my daughter on the planet it is so hard. And the kicker she has her own daughter she will get to do this with, but she still choice to steal away my moments...with MY Princess....Oh what I would do for a little girl I did not have to share...Wow I don't even know where all of this is coming from..I guess I hurt more then I admit to people. I hurt so bad. I know none really reads this so I fugure I am ok to vent here. Maybe someday I will be a somebody. Iwill make money taking photos I will travel I will be happy , but for now thi is my life I will try to life the best I can surving God, I know it seem like in all this I don't but I know God loves me, I know I love him , I know he takes me as I am I know he will raise me up.....I just need to be still and know he is God.Wow I think I fell a little better after all the venting!!!!!

Hope everyone is having a better monday then me. I am so tired and can barley function. Been up with a sick kiddo who has diarrhea it sucks for him horribly as we are wearing goodnights because he just can't make it to the toliet, poor guy. He hates it.. I think he is starting to loose weight. Might have to make a doctor visit, not sure he even has a doc anymore?? what to do . I am telling you when it rains it pours I really need something good to happen soon I am about to loose my mind. I am stuck in this house and feeling very angry and agitated today. I dunno, but I do love this sweet bubble pic of Roc....

The word of the week is courage, this is for someone very close to me who has struggled for years with drinking, this week she flipped her car due to drunk driving, I think God finally has her attention, This is for the courage it takes to say no to that drink daily to a struggle that will claim her life if she doesn't win it, so to all my prayers please say a prayer for her and my family as you read this. She is so dear to me she has a son who needs her, a new marriage, a step daughter, so I pray she has the courage every day to say NO to the drink she thinks she loves and needs .

cant believe how well my boys are playing together today. I am the luckiest momma on the planet, still somedays wish for a little girl, i didn't share, but God knows why he gave me another boy. Don't get me wrong I love him with my whole heart . Roc is my awesome amazing blessing. Just hoped for pink and dresses and tutu's. But I am blessed with my sweet boys!! They are all so awesome in there own ways. And the 1 princess, maybe she just needed to be the princess. Well just wanted to at least get something posted. I just never have enough time to write all I would and photograph all I should. I am tired today and thinking a quick nap before its time to pick kids up and more craziness. God Bless. Just another day..Isn't he the sweetest! Wow time flies.

Today is one of those days I real wish I could clone myself. I need to do it all.Take care of this little man who cries if not held, dishes, laundry, lots of cleaning and organizing. Any mom out there have this figured out yet? I feel like I fail everyday because I have so much to accomplish yet it never seems to get done. Yes I do realize my children are the most important thing, but man what about the mess we live in. I hate it and I try. I really need some help!! But looking at this face makes the world seem better!! I love being a mom and even in the crazy moments I have to remember someday thel ittle sound of them will be gone, because they do grow so fast.

I am thinking I really need some inspiration. Looking at flickr photos. Wow there is a lot of talent out there. No wonder it is hard to make it as a photographer unless you are amazing!!! SO wishing I was. I really want to get my dream camera the Canon EOS 5D Mark 2!! Plus at least one great lens but everything is so expensive....maybe someday. This has been a really hard week. I just feel down in the dumps and not good enough for anything. I feel like I fail everyday with kids and housework..It sucks. so I vent here because nobody really knows about my blog or stops by so I can say anything at this moment..hoping that changes and someday I am somebody...Hummmm how to make that happen. But tonight is date night, just staying home making yummy pasta. Then who knows maybe out for dessert. Trying to put makeup on and find something cute to wear and do my hair. Wishing money grew on trees also, my hubby's b-day, Valentines day. So wanted to do a "pin-up Girl" shot, but all the clothes and shoes are way pricey, so he said no not now maybe later..our anniversary is in June 5 years!!!!!!!! And I need a Mount for my tripod still mad I lost mine. money money money..everything revolves around money. A bigger house, built by my hubby, room to put everything. I am so tired of the pit I live in I pick up and its trashed in 2 minutes so It seems pointless trying to pick up so our date night dinner can at least be romantic..but who knows if that will really happen..?????My oh my time flies by Roc will be 7 weeks on Sunday where did the time go. Maybe its just the baby blues that is why I cry so much and seem to never be happy with anything...I dunno. Trying hard to stay positive and trust God but it is hard!! Hubby is going to build his own house to sell makes me very nervous! I know all will go well if all does I get my camera soon and we get a new house soon how great would that be but how soon is really soon have to make sure it continues to go well and we can pay all the bills...there we ago again with money I wish I were money smart and knew more. My own fear holds me back from trying things my hubby jumps . Well life goes on and someday I will be somebody...Not just this..the mom. I love it don't get me wrong but somedays I feel I need more. I just want to be good at something and succeed. well enough ramblings for the day..Maybe I should rename my blog Ramblings of a girl..LOL

Here is my try at a fix it fridays

I turned it balck and white. used the history brush to bring some color back, then added a layer and painted some rosey cheeks, added two textures from florabellas first set, and hamelin snow texture. Then added the frame from florabella.

Just another day. Babysat my niece Charlize. Dressed her up in a dress my daughter wore almost 12 years ago. Lots of pics of the kiddos . Now its almost time to pick kids up....Where oh where is time going?? I feel like I can't breathe somedays. I just have to remember God loves me and its all good. God is really all that matters in life..If I keep him first it all falls in to place!!! Just some pics from the day so far. I am obsessed. How do I ever afford all of these prints..LOL..... I really need to make money doing this!

My little man on my favorite blanket. It is so soft and snuggly, but its pink giraffe print so with wonderful photoshop i made it have a blue tint. Today I am struggling there is so much to be done and all I can do is cry. I guess its a touch of baby blues. There is so much laundry to fold and an entire house to clean..You would think I could get some help, but I have to have a total melt down with the kids and hubby before that happens. Roc is so beautiful. My heart over flows with love for each one of my children. I just want to be the best mom God has called me to be. My prayer is all my children follow him and have much simpler lives then I had. all caused by my own stupid mistakes, but then I would not be the me I am today....God knew all along.

also came up with a Photo for The word connections for a flickr group called Parallel Vision. It is our wedding rings the bible opened to 1 corinthians 13 and another bible in the background. I feel love god and marriage all Connect together. Without God it is nearly imposssible to make a marriage work. My marriage nearly ended then by the grace of God my hubby has been sober for almost 2 years!!!! We have a real marriage. And to a class at our chruch called C.O.O.L. It is a 12 step recovery program, but works for everything in life, really just draws you closer to God. Thank you God for my life you have given me help me live it everyday the best I can with your help. Help me praise you in all I do ..Even when it's just cleaning the house!!

It is so hard to explain the love I carry for all of my kids. With number 6 just here for 5 weeks I have been thinking how boring life would be with out them. I know people in my family make jokes about Getting me a doll, because I love my babies so much, but I love them this much as they grow. It angers me!! I don't need a doll. This little man sitting on my lap was prayed for and wanted. He has a purpose for being here!! I just love them all so much. now that is off my chest Moving on...... I just entered a contest for I heart faces I am hoping to start blogging more as to maybe more and more people will see my work and one day soon I might be able to have a business... please if yo see this leave a comment for me.
